Our Story
Since 2019, Miles Hike Club (MHC) has aimed to provide top-notch experiences for all in the great outdoors. Whether it's your first hike or your 200th, we aim to awaken the inner explorer in all of our guests.

With over 20 years of combined experience, our team loves to guide, teach and bond as it will feel like you're hiking with an old friend.

James (aka Booby)
Hailing from Chicago, James (affectionately referred to as Booby) fell in love with hiking the moment he moved to the Pacific Northwest many years ago. Having lived in DC and LA prior to his move to the PNW, he was in awe with all Washington state had to offer. He found himself hiking and connecting with nature every chance he got with whoever was willing to join him. This deep passion grew into Miles Hike Club as he wanted to see people from all backgrounds and abilities overcome their wildest dreams.
CHANG
(Pronounced CHONG)
Being a local Washingtonian, Chang has always loved to explore and be in touch with nature. With his active lifestyle and background as a collegiate athlete, hiking was a great way for him to explore the beautiful landscapes of the PNW and stay in shape. After living for more than 3 years in Seattle, Chang has explored most of the hikes the Seattle area has to offer and he would love to share these beauties with everyone!
George
Originally from Minnesota, when George got the chance to go to school in the PNW, he couldn’t resist. Quickly, he fell in love with the mountains and forests of Washington, and hasn’t stopped exploring since. On top of the hikes he's already explored, George finds joy in getting out and exploring new trails whenever he can. He can not wait to show you all that Washington has to offer through Miles Hike Club!
